I have to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to a number of people who have all had immensely important roles in the process in some way.
Firstly a big thanks to Intake 13 for encouraging me to visit Nepal in the first place. Thanks also to Intake 14 for helping with the language, introducing me to their wonderful families and for their never-failing and continuous support. I am eternally grateful to you all! (Gurujis included)
Thanks also to my wonderful mother for always encouraging me and being my crutch for the last six months. Thanks to dad also for being a great salesman!
I must also thank my dear friend Rosie (our beautiful model) for the numerous outfit changes and for being incredibly happy throughout the continuous process of camera snapping… and most importantly for making the best cups of tea.
To Lord and Lady Aylesford, sincere thanks are due to you both for putting me on the right path.
Many thanks to Wil and Sarah and all at Purple Creative Studio for this fabulous website. You made everything so easy and always provided unfailing support. Thanks also to Greg at Ambient Creative for his patience and fab work!
It would be remiss of me not to thank my didi (Karen) for putting up with my changeable daily moods. Your support throughout is appreciated more than you could ever know.
And finally, a huge thank you to all my family and friends, both new and old, and those in the UK and in Nepal. You’ve all been a part of this journey and you’ve been amazing!
Lots of love to you all,
